FANTASY FOOTBALL: BREAKING NEWS-LARRY JOHNSON OUT FOR WEEK 7

Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star has confirmed that Kansas City Chiefs coach Herm Edwards is keeping star running back Larry Johnson sidelined for the game against the Tennessee Titans this Sunday.
Teicher stressed that this isn't a team suspension but that Johnson will simply be placed on the inactive list for violating unspecified team rules. Edwards said it had nothing to do with the charge of simple assault filed against Johnson this week. A 26-year-old woman accused him of pushing the side of her head with an open hand at the Grand Emporium Saloon on Feb. 24, telling her "don't touch me" as he made his way through the club.
As a result of Johnson being sidelined, the Chiefs are expected to use both backup running backs Kolby Smith and Jamaal Charles. The running back-by-committee approach coupled with the stiff defense of the Titans will negate any positive effect Smith and Charles will have on fantasy football teams.
This reprorter's advice is to stay away from them if possible.
If you are desperate enough to use one of them, Smith is the one to go for since he filled in last year as Johnson's replacement when he was hurt and produced some decent numbers.
