FANTASY FOOTBALL: WEEK 16 SUNDAY PRE-GAME PLANNER...ALERT-BOLDIN-GORE OUT

This just in.....
Arizona wide receiver Anquan Boldin has just been declared inactive by the Cardinals and San Francisco back Frank Gore has been declared inactive by the 49ers due to injuries to both players.
The loss of both players are big hits for those of you in your fantasy football championship games or semifinal rounds this weekend.
The domino impact here is that Arizona's other starting receiver Larry Fitzgerald should be more productive than usual with Boldin sidelined. Yes, it is snowing at New England and the frigid temperatures won't be a plus for players on both the Cardinals and Patriots. But with Arizona's running game hurting in recent weeks you can expect that Fitzgerald will be as active as ever on the field with perhaps as many as 15-20 touches today.
On the 49ers, backup back DeShaun Foster's value rises tremendously and he should easily put up double-digit points against the St. Louis defense.
For whatever it's worth, Cincinnati receiver Chad Johnson has also been declared inactive today.
Other last-minute waiver pickups for key positions would be KC's Tyler Thigpen, Chicago's Kyle Orton or even Detroit's Dan Orlovsky of Shelton at quarterback; Denver's Tatum Bell or Selvin Young, Buffalo's Fred Jackson (Marshawn Lynch is hurting) or Washington's Ladell Betts at running back; and the 49ers' Isaac Bruce at receiver.
You likely know by now that weather conditions will be affecting many games today. But don't let that deter you from starting the "stud" players that got you this far in the playoffs. These players are still key components in their team's game plan and should still produce.
If you do any tweaking on your starting roster at all, focus on replacements for those secondary players who are projected to give you single-digit results.
Good luck today!
