FANTASY FOOTBALL: WEEK 8 PRE-GAME PLANNER-START CRABTREE, MCCOY, GREENE

Good morning everyone.
As usual I'm going a bit against the grain here...
Most fantasy football experts are telling you to hesitate starting San Francisco 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree today against the Indianapolis Colts.
Don't sit him because you will be sorry.
If you haven't noticed, the 49ers' power-run philosophy is changing since the running game has been struggling. The QB switch to Alex Smith allows for more downfield passing and Crabtree will be the focus point of those passes.
Also, the 49ers will likely have to play catch up today against the Colts and that means more action for Crabtree. Last week Crabtree had a decent day - five catches for just over 50 yards. This week, I see him making at least 8-12 catches for 80-100 yards and his first NFL touchdown.

Another player to start with confidence is Philadelphia backup running back LeSean McCoy. According to the Eagles Web site he should get the bulk of the carries today whether injured back Brian Westbrook starts or not.

Do not hesitate to start Jets backup back Shonn Greene who is taking the place of Leon Washington who is out of the season. Jets starting back Thomas Jones has a history of struggling against the Miami Dolphins. While the Dolphins defense won't make life easy for Greene, he is on a mission to showcase his talent and will be motivated to have another productive week.
