FANTASY CONFLICT-FOOTBALL INTEREST OVERSHADOWING BASEBALL

This is an interesting time of year for fantasy sports fans.
As the second half of the baseball season approaches and fantasy league owners scramble for a strong finish, fantasy football enthusiasts are gearing up for another exciting season as many sites like www.cbs.sportsline.com, www.yahoosports.com, www.espn.com, www.myfantasyleague.com, www.sandbox.com are beginning to offer packages for 2008 fantasy football leagues.
While my baseball leagues are faring okay with my teams in third place and two second places in three different leagues, I have to admit fantasy football is my favorite fantasy sport and I'm getting anxious for the season to get here.
When it comes to baseball, my advice right now is to keep an eye on the Toronto Blue Jays. Cito Gaston (the Billy Martin of Canada?) returns as manager and the Blue Jays should be fored up with a guy in place who instilled confidence, motivation and success when he managed there in the 1990s.
When it comes to football, be wary of fantasy football magazines and their info. Many of these magazines were put together in February and March and much of the info is outdated and unusable.
