Fantasy Football: Week 16 players who will produce in your semifinal or championship game

If you are reading this you are probably in your semifinal round of fantasy football playoffs or possibly in your championship game. This is not the time to activate a player who "could" give you decent points. You have competed all season to get to this point and want to give yourself the best shot possible to win, even if it means grabbing a new - but hot - player off your waiver wire.

For example, you have probably been riding hot running backs Peyton Hillis and Maurice Jones-Drew in recent weeks. But these guys could be big busts this weekend. Jones-Drew has been downgraded to doubtful with a knee injury. Hillis is facing a Ravens defense that has made it known it will focus on stopping him from having the kind of dominating performance (144 yards) he had against the Ravens earlier this season.
If you're looking for a safe back to play, see if Dallas back Tashard Choice is available on your waiver wire. He is playing tonight (Saturday) against a terrible Arizona defense and should get more carries with Marion Barber still nursing a calf injury.
Another back who is still available on many waiver wires is New England back Danny Woodhead. He led the Pats in rushing against Green Bay last week and faces a lousy Buffalo defense. Expect 80-90 yards and a TD or two from Woodhead this week.

FYI: If you have Denver back Knowshon Moreno, he is still bothered by a ribs injury. He is expected to play on Sunday but if you have a better option go for it.

When it comes to receivers, Kansas City's Dwyane Bowe has struggled in recent weeks with QB Matt Cassel recovering from an appendectomy. But Cassel is close to 100 percent this week and Bowe will be targeted early and often in a game KC needs to win to keep playoff hopes alive.
Another receiver to key on is San Diego's Vincent Jackson who should have another big game this week.
With guys like Santonio Holmes and Chad Ochocinco hurting this week, you might want to grab Indianapolis receiver Blair White who is available on many waiver wires. White should be targeted quite a bit with Austin Collie (concussion) out for the season.

Quarterbacks to key on this week outside of the obvious ones would include Matt Ryan, Jon Kitna (Saturday), David Garrard and TimTebow. Tight ends to key on would be Oakland's Zach Miller, Houston's Owen Daniels and Minnesota's Visanthe Shiancoe.

GOOD LUCK THIS WEEK!
