FANTASY FOOTBALL: WEEK 2 PLANNER-PART II

Here are some last minute notes....

You likely know that Eagles QB Donovan McNabb is out today.
A decent replacement could be Kansas City quarterback Matt Cassel who will start today. Cassel is still bothered by a knee injury, but he's a much better replacement than, say, a Marc Bulger or Byron Leftwich.

ALSO...New Orleans back Pierre Thomas is active today but won't be 100 percent. He and Mike Bell will split duties along with Reggie Bush. Start Thomas at your own risk, but I'd say there's at least a 50-50 chance for him to post decent numbers only because he has been champing at the bit to get on the field and start.

If you need a running back, Cadilac Williams might still be available on your waiver wire and is a solid play today. Good luck today!!!

FANTASY FOOTBALL:WEEK 2 GAME PLANNER-BREAKING NEWS!!!!!-WELKER OUT

The New England Patriots' inactive list just came out and receiver Wes Welker is on it. This is unfortunate because Welker was expected to have a huge day against the Jets.
With Welker down, expect Joey Galloway to get a few more passes thrown his way along with Kevin Faulk.
If you need a replacement and have access to your waiver wire, decent replacements at receiver would be Michael Clayton, Mark Clayton, Louis Murphy. Also....Arizona's Steve Breaston is active today and is another good replacement.
